Texas Soap Name Change
In 2007, I tried to change Texas Soap & Sundries from a sole proprietorship to a limited liability company (Texas Soap & Sundries LLC). The name was unavailable due to other companies having similar names. I decided to change the name. I wanted a short name that was easy for folks to remember and that created a word picture when the name came to mind. After months of trying to come up with a new name, I gave up and decided if it was meant to be I would come up with something, if not I would leave it. One morning after changing the water filter in the kitchen faucet, I noticed a mist above the sink. That was the word I was looking for! A perfect word picture!. It took months for me to get enough courage to change the name after all Texas Soap & Sundries had been around since November 2000.
On March 25, 2009, Texas Soap became Mist Soap LLC.
I am working on a new website (mistsoap.com) and will announce our Grand Opening when it is finished. TexasSoap.com will remain open at least until the new site is ready.
Happy Easter!
